Ise Shrine

Ise Shrine

Ise Jingu, affectionately known as “Oise-san,” is a shrine with a history of over 2,000 years.
There are two main shrines: the inner shrine, which enshrines Amaterasu-sume Omikami, and the outer shrine, which enshrines Toyouke-bime.

At Okage Yokocho, a 5-minute walk from Ujibashi, you can enjoy Ise gourmet foods such as Akafuku and Ise udon.
Along the way from Okage Yokocho to Ise Jingu, there are many restaurants and souvenir shops.
You can enjoy eating out and shopping.

Kumano Kodo

Kumano Kodo

This is the road I took from Ise Jingu to visit the Kumano Sanzan, crossing several mountain passes.
The Kumano Pilgrimage Route is registered as a World Heritage Site as a “Sacred Site and Pilgrimage Route in the Kii Mountains”.

Iseji has 24 courses.
In particular, the three courses “Magose Pass Course”, “Tsuzurato Pass Course”, and “Matsumoto Pass Course” are.
This is a popular course that even beginners can walk with relative peace of mind.

We can feel the same way that people in the past walked the same paths and felt the nature.
